As part of its commitment to promoting community awareness and supporting women’s issues, Al-Huda University College organized an awareness event and seminar titled:
“Combating Violence Against Women… A Shared Social Responsibility.”
This activity was held by the Women’s Affairs Unit in cooperation with the Oil Products Distribution Company / Anbar Branch, with active participation from the Department of Pharmacy.
The seminar was distinguished by the notable attendance of Mr. Adnan Kazem Al-Kubaisi, Member of the Anbar Provincial Council, alongside Ms. Shathar Muzafar Al-Rawi, Advisor to the President of the Provincial Council for Women’s Affairs. Both commended the vital role played by academic institutions in promoting awareness and fostering a culture of respect for women and protection against all forms of violence.
The event included various awareness-oriented themes presented by specialists, with valuable scientific contributions from pharmacy students that enriched the discussion and contributed significantly to the success of the seminar.
Al-Huda University College reaffirms its commitment to supporting humanitarian and awareness initiatives that strengthen the values of justice and contribute to empowering women within society.
